Role and responsibilities
The primary responsibility is for those day-to-day sales activities required in generating new opportunities for Centiq. This involves the sale of workload optimised hardware infrastructure, enterprise software, systems management and monitoring tools and managed services as a complete turnkey solution. Whilst primarily focused on generating new business, development of assigned accounts may be included as your customer base grows. This will involve expanding relationships (and sales) into multiple areas of an account.
All our customers are important to our continued success and the winning of new customers by creating and developing new business opportunities across sectors is a key element of the role. Centiq is looking for those that can demonstrate a structured and well-managed approach to opportunity generation as well as is a strong track record of previous success.
Centiq utilises a fully integrated ERP and CRM system – Microsoft Dynamics 2013. Responsibilities will include the timely reporting and forecasting of opportunities to accurately reflect both activity and committed numbers within any period. This will be in line with the company schedule and guidelines.
Building and developing a personal network of professional contacts that will be critical in the development of both your assigned accounts and pipeline within our key vendor partners (IBM, SAP, HP).
Meeting and exceeding monthly, half-yearly and annual Gross Profit targets (including the main sales KPI’s of product, project services, annuity, and Optiq subscriptions).
The right candidate will be in existing employment in a similar role with a minimum 5 years consistent success in IT solution selling. Skills in the successful closure of complex IT projects involving multiple stake-holders, multiple product and service offerings and senior level customer involvement must be demonstrable. SAP, IBM and/or HP sales experience along with an existing network of contacts is highly preferable. Knowledge and experience of selling data centre infrastructure, project services, SaaS and managed services is essential.
A key attribute is a proven track record in meeting Gross Profit targets.
Track record of creating and managing high-value projects at senior and “C” level.
Experience of selling and renewing multi-year managed and support services contracts
