Servent and Centiq Announce New Strategic Cloud Partnership

This announcement brings together two best of breed companies that will help accelerate the transformation of customers’ SAP landscapes through the adoption of SAP on Azure.

NOTTINGHAM and GLASGOW — May 1, 2019

Servent and Centiq announced today that they are partnering to offer a complete pathway to the cloud through their joint SAP on Azure solutions. The partnership will see them build on two of the first SAP on Azure migrations in the U.K., where S/4HANA was deployed in production for two enterprise customers. The companies will collaborate to build and create engineering solutions and services.

With the 2025 deadline looming for the end of SAP ECC support, many customers face the challenge of finding the right partner to solve complex cloud migrations and to de-risk business transformation. For businesses focusing on digital innovation and championing the benefits that come with cloud migration, there has never been a better time to consider SAP on Azure.

Through the close alignment and tight cultural fit between both organisations, they will offer a seamless approach to help businesses maximise investments in SAP. Through their agile engagement approach, they remove the lengthy and financial overhead typically associated with global systems integrators, who currently dominate this space.

Des McGuire Cloud Solutions Director at Servent, said, “Following on from the strategic announcement from Microsoft and SAP, both of our organisations decided that our combined real-world experience and individual strengths in SAP HANA and Microsoft Azure put us in a formidable position. This enables us to compete against the global systems integrators and really disrupt this market. Combining our existing engineering efforts to jointly engineer SAP on Azure solutions, backed by our existing references on SAP on Azure, places us in a unique position.”

This partnership is based upon a shared vision of simplifying and accelerating migration using an infrastructure-as-code approach and championing the added advantage that shared expertise and capabilities bring. This enables customers to realise maximum value from their SAP landscapes running on the Microsoft Azure platform.

Matt Lovell, CEO at Centiq, said, “Our customers are seeking to de-risk and simplify their migrations of SAP workloads to Microsoft Azure. There are many considerations to defining, designing, securing, building and optimising SAP workloads, and this requires a complement of Azure, data, Linux, SAP HANA and Azure analytics expertise. The Servent and Centiq partnership unifies this expertise into one flexible, trusted solution with a track record in complex migrations. Our combined experience and expertise, coupled with our thought leadership in “Platform as Code” and our SAP HANA on Azure cloud operating model, enables customers to simplify and flexibly migrate SAP HANA to Microsoft Azure.’’
